Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services during an engagement with all the agency's senior administrators in a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of the registered pupils from the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
